Notes

Legs felt very beat up so I decided to go for only 12 rather than the planned 16. I also did loops around the 4-mile loop so that I would be close to the apartment if I really hit the wall. Finally, I used the 7-1 run-walk ratio. It turns out that my legs, though sore, were in a lot better shape than I expected. Even given the walking breaks, I averaged 7:19/mi for the entire run. I could have gone for another loop but I'm glad that I decided not to.

I didn't get quite as many miles in this weekend as I wanted to and the treadmill run was a lot more difficult to recover from than I expected. Nevertheless, I met all my objectives and won't have to do too many super-long runs.
