Workout: 8E + 4T + 4min rest + 4T + 1E
I was very unfocused for this workout; I didn't do a very good job planning out a route that would get me to 17 miles. Started out on the Maple street loop and then turned down onto the 5-mile loop but decided I didn't want to do the big hill on Hill St so I switched to the silver oak forest loop.
On the first tempo I held the pace all right for 2 miles but then started to lag behind; I'm pretty sure that it was mostly mental. On the second tempo I started out a bit fast and hit pace on the third mile but again lost focus in the last mile.
I definitely felt the fatigue of the last workout as well as the first 8 mile run during this workout.
