Notes

Didn't really know what to expect for this race; despite perennial bad weather and a fairly hilly course, I have found some success on this course without much training. I didn't know if my 50-miler fitness would carry over and it seems like it did. The perspective also helped: the race seemed like it had hardly started when it was over. I'm going to use this as motivation to get going and get back into shape. 18:06 isn't a good time for me by any stretch of the imagination but it's not a bad square-1.
