Brutal course - all up and down, but terrain not too bad, very runnable trails. Beat Gene Dykes in first direct age-group competition. He took early lead, lost sight of him for a while, then recontacted in mile 3, passed in mile 4.
Tom G disappointed in time, but finished well.
