10 x 200's w/ 1 minute recoveries
This was my first foray into true speed work in 6 weeks. The intervals were a bit slower than I am capable but I suspect that was due to a lack of fluidity, not necessarily lost fitness.
I did not really push it though and did not really care what my pace was, I just ran at what felt like a consistent effort.
I am definitely not race ready, but hope to salvage the season somehow, some way. That all hinges upon my leg though.
As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised with my post-run weight as I thought it would be much higher. Hooray for small victories.
