3 Easy + 2 x 800 meters at Tempo + 3 x 600 meters at VO2 max

It felt really, really nice to be back at the track again doing what I love; getting my head kicked in.

It took a few laps to run at VO2 pace by effort (I was running it too fast) which is to be expected as my last workout at that pace was over 15 weeks ago during the beginning of marathon training.

This was just a light workout to get me reacquainted with speed. It was tough but fun.
