Paarl trail series. Goal was to have a hard run, and not injure myself. I started off comfortably, ran hard and felt ok. After the first descent I could feel I was starting to blow hard so backed off and walked / ran some of the climbs. With about 3km to go I saw the finish, and figured it was downhill most of the way. Opened up and caught two guys in front of me to finish 6th. Hopefully I didn't damage legs too badly.
