Lessons Learned:

1) Pace yourself. I went out slower than last week. My overall pace was a bit slower, but I wasn't hurting nearly as much at the end.

2) Trail running is overrated. I decided to go down a little dirt trail in the park and stepped on a root or rock or something. There isn't any noticeable bruising, but my right foot is kind of sore where it hit.

3) Sports drink recipe. 16oz water bottle, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/8 tsp salt, 2 tbsp Sunny D, 1 tbsp lemon juice, fill with water. The Sunny D makes the final product less tart than using all juice. It actually tastes surprisingly like Gatorade.

4) Body Glide rocks. It's not as messy as Vaseline, washes off easier, and seemed to be more effective.
