Nice to get back on the track again after a two week hiatus due to the 10k. Even nicer that the heat wave has moved on and the morning temps are decent again. Not to mention it was a really great workout. Only did three 1200s this time, but added three 800s after that. All 1200s were within 1-2 seconds of my target time (4:54) and the 800s were within 3-4 seconds (3:16). That's probably the most accurate I've ever been with my pacing in a speed workout. It was tough at times, particularly the last 1200 and the last 800, but it feels rewarding that I was able to gut it out.
