Notes

Another step up in distance! I didn't really plan to do 15 miles, but set an easy pace starting out and decided if I was feeling good I would see how far I could go. There was decent bit of downtime at some intersections and I took a little break each time I came across a water fountain. About seven miles in I decided to go for the full 15. At mile 12 I was leaving Wellington Park and felt a little surge, but the last two miles I felt completely drained and was just hanging on.

I only looked at my watch a couple times so I wouldn't be tempted to push the pace. I just kept a running count of the beeps marking the mile splits. I'm pretty pleased with coming in under a 10 minute pace considering this was a mile and half longer than I'd run before and it was fairly warm.

I feel pretty good post-run. Understandably tired, but my legs aren't really hurting. My right achilles is aching a bit, but that usually happens. No issues with my hip or foot which is a good sign.
