4 miles on the shelf to test my leg. started off slow going clockwise. progressed each mile and switched directions after 2 miles. felt weird throughout because i haven't run in a couple days but also because my hammys/hips are sore from aqua jogging since i worked out in the pool this morning and haven't done that in a while either. didnt feel any discomfort really until i switched directions-probably a combination of the turns and gradually increased pace. eventually my hip/glute started to tighten a bit which made it an easy decision to call it off for tomorrow. kinda disappointed and frustrated but i given the turns it makes sense. wouldve gone outside had it not been pretty cold and pouring rain since i wanted to keep it warm. at any rate, im at least not worried at all about fitness-just gotta get healthy so i can race
