Silver Streak Last Chance Invite at Monmouth College
3200- new 13 second PR from state last year with a time of 9:16.23. was by myself after the first turn and for the rest of the race. i lapped everyone and won by 48 seconds or something like that. my 400 splits for the 16 laps were roughly:
400- 66.8
800- 70.6(2:17.4)
1200-71.2(3:28)
1600- 69.7(4:38)
2000-69.7(5:48)
2400- 70.7(6:59)
2800-70.9(8:10)
3200-66.0(9:16)
this was a bittersweet result because i came into the meet wanting to set the meet record, but i felt short by less than a sec;however, i did break nick's school record of 9:17 so i hope to continue to lower that as the season progresses
