decided to do an extended fartlek since i am able to get the most of it since i can tailor the whole workout to how i feel. went for 30 minutes before i started the pickups. did 4.85 in 30 so thats 6:11 pace. then i did 5x 2min on/off and then 5x1min on/off. that ended up being 5.5 miles in 29:10, which is 5:18pace, which is pretty solid. i focused on trying to start off easier and build through so it was definitely a feel good workout. it got pretty windy at some points but not terrible. solid workout to start conference week
