Shipley Invite 2014. first outdoor meet. 3200 meter A flight. went out with webster on my side the first lap. i thought he was trying to take the lead so ipushed it to avoid that and ended up going through the first 400 in 63. after that i clicked off consecutive 71s and with a couple 72s towards the end and ended up closing in 65. i went through the mile in 4:38 and came back in 4:42. im not super mad about this because i realized that i couldve have run substantially faster had i not gone out stupidly, but its a learning experience. i wished i wouldve PR'd because of the fairly ideal conditions, but i won by over 30 seconds so there wasnt anyone pushing me after the first lap
