Broke out a new pair of 1080s for this. Started from the Wheaton NRC with Dan, jasper, and niq. I found it quite difficult the the first 30min to stay at goal pace because it was already dark and running in a group. Ended up averaging 635s for this part. The 2nd 30min felt great with the guys. We were just rolling and chatting at 6:05 pace. They dropped off at an hour when we went over the bridge into downtown Wheaton and I picked it up for the last 30min. I generally found this last part to not be too bad except I was fighting off hip/hammy tightness the last few miles and the slight slippage on the limestone wasn't helping. Pace didn't feel too difficult and was actually really happy how much energy I had given i was wearing trainers and at the end of a medium long run. Stopped right at 90 before a small cooldown. Probably averaged 540 or just under for the final part and found myself in a good state of uncomfortable (which was the plan) Overall happy with this unofficial workout. It was good practice locking in at a pace and making the body feel a little uncomfortable when I'm getting tired
