alumni long run. beautiful morning out and a big group from the start. thankfully no one got greedy so the run was actually mostly enjoyable and high quality. pace was pretty pedestrian until leaving blackwell. i had taken up the front by this point but we almost got hit by 2 cars crossing butterfield which made nolan go nuts and when people gave him shit for yelling he took off. he gapped us considerably right away and i lead the charge behind with travis at the front. until we got into downtown warrenville i stayed up there but we split up because i thought the path would be flooded. that ended up putting a lot of guys ahead so i let travis go and was with dhru, al, and finch for a bit. we dropped finch and were rolling in the 530s. when we got to mcdiz, the bridge was closed so we had to maneuver through it. al and dhru gapped me here so i basically cruised in the rest of the way by myself. hip did tighten slightly the last couple of miles but not as bad as it has in weeks past, which is still good progress. added on prairie and then a small patterson loop with nolan to hit 20 on the watch a tad over 2 hours. watch had me at 20 on the dot but i mapped it out to almost 20.5. rough splits were 722, 652, 636, 632, 623, 619, 612, 601, 556, 612, 545, 535, 538, 540, 534, 526, 542, 602, 552
