workout: 2x3mile tempo at 5:40 pace with 3min standing rest between reps

unexpected workout today. went out hard the first one and ended up ok but had to go to bathroom so i did that during my rest period. went back out and felt tired for the start of the second one. i tried keeping good form though so that probably kept me going faster than i thought i was going. with .25 things went pretty bad for me and things got a bit messy, but still somehow finished under my goal pace of 5:40. legs felt good for the most part besides some fatigue from the last couple of days
