VO2 max test @ Benedictine- 75.9
First time ever getting my VO2 max measured so didnt really know what to expect. Benedictine thankfully has a summer program where students are doing research so it was a free gig. Coming into this, i was well rested from the last 2 days but wasnt sure if my calves/hammy being tight would affect my performance. I ended up being okay. Made it further than anyone else has in the facility and I was on a graduated progression to make it harder. Every minute either the speed increased or the elevation did. I tapped out right at 18 minutes when the speed was 8mph and 18%->19% elevation. Was pretty close to my limit but ultimately tapped out because my calves were rocked. Ended up being the highest VO2 max they've ever recorded there by over 2 points so that was cool and I kinda surprised myself having it be that high since I figured somewhere are 72-73 with my current fitness
