paced the first mile of the slower heat of the 3200 at the midwest distance gala. got a call earlier in the day after long run and the guy only wanted me to go 440. i figured since the race was so late in the day id be fine after LR so i accepted. race was at 845. got the legs moving so i felt fine for the race. right before, some noob asked me to take them out in 435 instead of 440 even though the fastest seed in the whole race was 930. long story short, i brought them through in 435 flat and everyone died like a pig. winner was only 926. ended up getting a subway sandwich so happy about that
