800 @ Whitewater. Won my heat but slow time
Was in heat 4 of 6 since the coaches seeded me with a slower time. Doubling back from the DMR, I wasn't sure how I would feel but I wanted to get after it so go out as hard as I could. I did that, although it was a struggle to maintain first position around the first turn because my turnover just seemed lacking. Led the whole race after that. Splits were roughly 28,29,30,30 so definitely not great. Was pretty disappointed when I saw the slow time but I went after it, got good position, and held it. Would've been nice for some competition in my race like it would have been in the DMR as well
