pretty hot out and sunny for the track workout. felt pretty good though.work out was 4 sets of 2x200 at 31 with either 200 or 400 jog rest between + 1x400 at 62 with 600 or 800 jog rest between. only ended up doing 3 sets, but i did really well on those sets. i was hitting the times even though ive never run a 62 in practice by myself ever. i was really happy about that and that boosted my confidence. however, after my second 400, coach stopped me and asked why i was breathing hard and if i thought it was a tough workout. i had just run a 60 and was under my times so i did not think this was necessary at all. on the next lap of my jog rest he stopped me again and just told me to hit the times and not go under, which doesnt make any sense. therefore, since i was satisfied with all my times after the third set, and he had suggested only doing 3 sets when he stopped to talk to me, i just stopped after my third 400. i would normally feel disappointed for not finishing a workout, but i felt like i got what i needed from this workout. i got some solid speed work and a renewed confidence that i can go fast
