body was sore and tired today from the breaking 2 event last night and my other workouts. napped after working 7-1 and then got out the door at 5:30. it was hot and humid as hell. i wanted to go slow enough that my HR was low but that ended up being a huge challenge. even going 7min pace my HR slowly got up to 180 and i just felt drained. went out from diz's down modaff, through knoch knolls and then did a loop around whalon lake. stopped at the drinking fountain/bathroom after the loop for a good 10 minutes. at this point i was at 8 miles in 54:48. really wanted to call the run but was still 6 miles out and needed to get it all in. started back up and felt okay at first but again felt the urge to stop at the 10 mile so stopped there for about 5 minutes right by the parking lot at the sports complex. really wanted to call it here but said fuck it quit being a bitch. i started back up and finished off the last 4 miles. i just felt kinda empty overall. i understand the weather was tough but i thought i have been hydrating pretty damn well as well as getting enough fuel in the tank foodwise. kinda pissed but i think everyone has days like these sometimes.
