XC Sectionals 2013 at Maxwell State Park in Bloominton-Normal. went out in 4:46 with sam doud by my side. we were both surging constantly but after the mile i started to really press and i dropped him. i went through the 2 mile in 9:46 and had about a 30 meter lead. in the last mile is really when i opened it up. i closed in 4:54 and ended up winning by 27 seconds. i was little disconcerted when my teammates took forever to finish because i didnt think we were gonna make it but luckily we survived getting 4th
