Whalon Lake/Green Valley LR

Super nice out this morning. Kept it pretty chill until we got out by whalon lake and then the pace picked up a bit. I kept it steady because I planned on closing the last 20 minutes hard to simulate for the half. I started at 1:40/15miles and felt really good. First mile was a really smooth 5:11 and then the next mile I still felt pretty good but the GPS was a bit off under the trees on the DPRT. 2nd mile was 5:20 on the watch. My breathing and HR were still really good but my left hip had started tightening up pretty bad and I also really had to poop. This got worse and worse as the start of the third mile was all gradually uphill. It got so bad that it wasnt even worth it anymore so I slowed down and just chilled it back in. Not worth straining to keep good form while holding in #2 all because my hip was tight..definitely frustrating tho because it's hard for me to really push the envelope with my body because most times I try my hip tightens up. 6xstrides with alec inside res afterward. Felt really good by the end
