Notes

Swim - 31:48 - 1:59/100m

T1 - 2:12

Bike - 2:39:58 - 21.0mph

T2 - 1:40

Run - 1:25:57 - 6:34/mi

First one in the books. Overall very happy with how it went.

Swim could’ve been better but first race and first time open water was an adjustment. Was awkward with spotting to start and also got tackled a few times. Felt ok though, probably could’ve went harder but I think I just defaulted to easy pace because I had no feel for anything.

Bike was probably my best leg. Felt rough the first 10-15mi but settled in really nicely and was cruising. Way better than I thought I would do.

Run obviously not great but given the conditions I’m not too upset. Went out according to plan in 6-610s for the first 7miles but the only problem was the plan was too ambitious. Got back to the speedway after the first lap and the heat really started to get to me. It was 84 by that point but had to have been 90+ on the racetrack. Second lap was pure survival from there. Up there as one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

Onto the bridge run then a much needed break

Don't take a break the build back up without getting injured is impossible

Yeah I can't argue with that I've done that a million times. But I've been running through this groin thing for over a month now so gonna try like 5 days no running see how that goes
