Running with the dog. Other than that I'm taking the day off. Finished my first complete week on saturday at 50 miles, which was a bit too high. This week I plan to match it. Still, after my long run yesterday I am a little sore and just not feeling like running. I took off monday last week and ended up with 50 still, so I should be fine. The dog was a lot better today. i also have my first pickup hockey game today. It'll be the first time i've played hockey since college began. I expect that will be like a run. Skating is different muscles but I expect they are close. It would be cool if skating built up the muscles that would stop my leg from hurting. My leg never hurt before college. Unlikely, but who knows. Next saturday i want to get my dog up to extending her run to the 5k. Doing this run is usually harder than I think it should be, but is still not much of a workout at all. Three miles would be better. Hope she's up for it. Today I tried to get her going faster. I end up pulling her for a couple seconds and then she keeps up. Still, she doesn't really hold it. Want to get her to at least 8 minute pace.
