12x400 w/200 jog. 78.0, 77.3, 77.6, 77.1, 76.6, 77.5, 75.8, 76.4, 75.1, 76.6, 74.8, 76.2 (50-55 sec 200 jog). Wanted to get in a light workout before Tulsa Run this weekend, since I havent run much faster than a 5:50 here and there and didnt want the race to be a complete shock; although its probably not going to be pretty. Landes met me at the track for the workout and it was great having partner. We were both still feeling Chicago so there was an understood ease to this morning. Effort-wise the 400s were more akin to strides, but given the fatigue that is still lingering they just werent especially fast. Aerobically this was the best I've felt in the past few weeks, legs just werent accustom to it. No hip problems during the 400s which was pleasant! might have to ride ups and downs but at least I know there is a possibility to run quicker without it giving me fits.
