Ran out to one of the suburban areas to the south of Reykjavík. First run in Iceland I actually enjoyed. Got to sleep in so actually got to run in the daylight! Paths were still icy but manageable, almost fell only once.

I know it kinda sucks, and most of the running is in the dark. But I hope you're enjoying your visit and getting to see more than just the tourist parts with the running you've been doing! That's my favorite part. Just keep doing what you can and training can start again next week. Health is the #1 factor!! loss of sleep/total change in rhythm can cause sickness/injury
