3rd. It was really cold out and had just started to snow when the race started. In the opening stretch I say behind nick Holmes and Johnny with plank to my side. On the first uphill turn I let Johnny and Holmes go because I wasn't trying to fuck around with there prideful racing. I just wanted to have fun and run fast without my side givi me grief. The first mile was 4:50 and I decided to just throw in a small surge and ended up pulling away from plank. When we made the turn to come back on the river trail I was all alone and just watched Holmes get dropped by Johnny. I came through the 2 mile in around 9:37 so I had reasserted some sort of pace. The last mile sucked because I didn't have much competitive juices flowing I was just running at that point. Didn't kick down the final 600m straight and ran 14:34 over all. Wasn't bad especially for having more than a few beers and eating bar good the night before.
