Notes
It was a slow start this morning. I slept restlessly last night and even with daylight savings I didn’t feel all that’s good. My stomach was a little sour, and with the prospect of a nasty long run out the window early, I let myself settle into a lighter pace while listening to the audiobook of Bowerman and the Men of Oregon. At the turnaround I wanted to push the pace somewhat and despite heavy legs and not having done any significant long running since the marathon, I went. I was barely under 6 minute pace the way back and it didn’t feel like I wasn’t floating along. I labored somewhat but it was endurable. Got back just in time for a quick shower and pack up before leaving for the cross country meet.
