10x1000 w/3' rest on Marshall Rd. Let myself get sucked into thinking most of this workout would be cake since the odd numbered reps I was used to going out in 2:58 during the mile reps in the past; and the slow end of today was 3:00. However, a stiff headwind and more uphill than I've noticed before made the pace erratic and a bit of a mind fuck. Opened up with the widest the range would be fore me, 3:01.6 out and 2:51.7 back. Richey was very u happy about us running too fast on that second one. Followed it up with 3:00.4 and 2:56.3. I had a lot of trouble staying connected and really ran most of the workout on my own. 2:57.1, 2:53.9. I would finish most of the reps feeling like I was done but would really just soon enough to go for the following rep. The guys kept me afloat more than they probably realize. 3:00.7 almost ended my workout early but following it up with 2:52.7 have me the confidence to feel like I could finish without depriving myself of the quality. 2:59.4 for the last uphill rep and finished with 2:54.6. I felt some despair this morning but that's probably a good thing to get more familiar with since we will be ripping Mags on Saturday

I gotta get me head on straight and be ready to hurt in a whole new way. (5x Leg Circuit)
