3 mile tempo @~15:15; 5’; 6-8x800 @2:20 w/2’; 5’; 4-6x200 w/200 jog. Woke up early to get this one in before the team practice. Still feeling Wednesday’s long run for sure. Tried harder than I thought I’d have to on the tempo and afer a slow opening mile I said fuck and just tried to do what I could with getting battered by a decieveling stiff 11mph headwind on the back stretch. 5:10/5:08/4:59 (15:18). Things weren’t looking bright for the 800s. Opened slow again and tried to keep my head in the game. Opened in a consistent 70 and averaged 2:21 low for the reps. 2:21.5/2:21.2/2:21.3/2:20.6/2:21.1/2:20.8. Had to dig in a percevere through those bad boys even tough they were slower than what I assumed Johnny was looking for. 200s to finish off we’re pretty much long strides. 30.8/30.8/30.4/30.4/31.1/30.3. Surprised with the speed on tired legs.
