7/6/5/4/3/2/1/2/3 fartlek w/ half previous rep float jog. Long day ahead so I got up super early to workout and lift before my massage with derek and then working 11 am to 7pm. I was freezing my balls off on the warm up and I was gettin numb patches on my body despite having a coat and tights on. At least the sun started to show when I got over to start the fartlek. I was not confident in this going well because of how tired I was feeling this morning and through the warm up but knew there was something to be gained by grinding it out. Resolved to not check my watch for the first couple because I wanted to feel the effort. Split miles on the first 3 pick ups of 5:10, 4:59, 4:58. I managed to keep the pick ups under 5:00 pace which was nice but I was struggling on the float jogs, I really like them to be under 6:00 but 6:10-15 was all I seemed to have today. I worked through some really rough patches but I can hold my head high knowing I ran hard this morning insteaadbof looking for excuses not to get he job done.
