Super windy this morning, 24 mph W with gusts up to 40. I didn’t want to fight the wind so I planned on running to the indoor track to do my run. Just a couple miles in I got bored and decided to workout. With no particular pace in mind and the rest being up in the air as well I decided to do 4x1000m and make the rest up as I went along, maybe doing something shorter and faster after. Went 3:10.5, 3:07.3, 3:06.3, 3:00.5 off of 550m jog (2 laps in the outside lane, about 2:20-30). I was surprised with how good the paces felt! I hopped up to the banked 200 at the end of the 550 jog and did 5x200 w/200 jog. 31.5, 32.0, 31.4, 31.9, 31.4. Slowly getting some turnover work in, hopefully this will all help in the long run.
