3 sets of 5xK w/90”, 3’ between sets. First set at MP, 2nd set at HMP, 3rd set at 10k. [3:15.2/3:16.1/3:14.9/3:14.8/3:11.8] [ 3:09.4/3:06.8/3:06.8/3:08.6/3:07.7] [3:01.0/3:01.1/3:01.4/3:01.9/2:57.9] Legs were super heavy this morning. I did an extended warm up just to see if they'd come awake. Started the first rep at 5:30 pace and it felt like I was pressing. After that first one though I was opened up and while it wasn't cruising, I ran around marathon effort (maybe 2% harder). Second set was by far the easiest then on the last one I was able to run quicker without killing my self (even managed a sub-3). Overall I'm very happy with it considering how shitty I feel. I think I need to switch the ML day during the 3 day recovery to the middle day.
