Pre-Drake 10k baby workout. 4 mile progression (5:45 down to 5:15) w/ 5' jog+ 4-6x400 w/200 jog. There was a pretty strong 13 mph S wind that I had to deal with this morning so I did the progression on the New U and the 400s on the track so it would be balanced. the progression went well, I was only working the last mile, going 5:43/5:33/5:20/5:07 for 21:42. I jogged back over to the track and did the 400's. I wanted to get a feel for how the VF4% would feel on the track and honestly I was a little letdown. they didn't feel as springy as they usually do on the road but it could have been due to accumulated fatigue and fighting the wind. 65.9, 64.9, 64.4, 64.9. Decent enough workout, touching on a few different systems, now we rest up and get ready for a true track 10k debut Thursday night.
