Notes

48:10, Run to the Well 15k CR by a min. Got back at midnight last night and when I woke up, even though I didn't feel that bad, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to execute the workout and hit the CR for the $250 prize. Did 4x 2mile w/ half mile steady in between. 5:02/5:06 (10:08.8) [2:49] 4:56/4:58 (9:54.7) [2:53] 4:58/5:09 (10:08.0) [2:52] 5:06/4:52 (9:58.6). It was really windy, 12-15mph out of the NE (but I got out of there before the rain came). Got wrecked the second mile of the 3rd, and first of the 4th. Otherwise, I was working at about an 85% effort so it is great to know sub-5 pace is coming so much more easily as training progresses. I probably looked like a bit of a jerk when I ran through the line, I really wanted to finish out the whole 2 mile rep at the end so kept running down the street. Overall it was a really good workout and nailed the goals for the race.

Just now realizing that your splits meant you ran through the finish line....Nice.

I had to establish my dominance, even if I already had the win by 7 min ;)
