4-3-2-1 mile w/4' rest. Started at MP and worked down. I was not feeling great on the warm up so I went a little longer and did some solid strides beforehand. it was very humid and starting to warm up so I knew mother nature would not be on my side today. my biggest worry during the workout was how mp lacked a certain amount of rhythm and fluidity. I tried to settle in but the pace would slip and I would have to re-engage. 5:19.3/5:12.5/5:14.5/5:13.6 for 21:00.0. The rest was right about where it needed with how I was feeling. 5:09.5/5:11.3/5:08.9 for 15:29.9. With the two big boys down and out of the way I focused on picking up the pace and working through the discomfort of drained legs. 5:06.5/5:03.3 for 10:09.8. with the consistent 5 sec per mile drop on all of the reps I really wanted to nail the last mile and despite the slow start ran a 4:54.3 to finish the workout off strong! Made the most out of the morning, just one more big one to go until we try to start feeling better. statics after.
