Notes

8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 w/ half rep float recovery. ran on the xc course since club xc is just a couple weeks away and I haven't run fast on the grass in a very long time. It seemed like a perfect double-dip as well as I continue to incorporate hills into my workouts. Got a great morning to workout; 37 degrees, 8 mph SE wind that was partially blocked by the tree lines. The footing around the course was the biggest concern but I only buckled my ankle once during the whole 10 miles so I'm counting that as an enormous win. I avoided the sections that I knew were the iffiest or full of mole holes. Paces [On(mile split)/Float]: 5:09(5:09.0)/6:01, 5:13(5:07.7)/6:04, 5:10(5:08.8)/5:58, 5:09/5:45, 5:08/5:57, 5:00/6:02, 5:15/5:51, 5:02/5:36. Pretty solid morning overall, I definitely overcame the doubt of running on an undulating surface; I told Johnny it might be 5-10 sec/mile slower than the roads. I'm not sure really how accurate that assessment is but it was a more dynamic workout than I've done in a while.

Very doubtful, 99% of the time it picks up my stride rate
