i felt like total dog shit at the start. the first mile was probably 7:10-15 and i was not feeling good whatsoever. I almost rationalized turning back and doing just 6 miles but as the run progressed and i pissed in the dupage river i felt a little better. I did the normal loop up around Res/Rec and actually started to pick it up down duck. I found a bit of a groove and realized i was probably just cashed from lifting yesterday since i bumped up the intensity a bit.
