Long run with surges. 1-2-3-4-3-3-2-3-1 min pick ups, Johnny let me decide the rest between so went off 10 min intervals which kept the rest varying through the workout. Wind out of the NW so had kaylin drop me off at 41st and Riverside and I took the bike path way out into the boonies on a straight shot. She was then gonna pick me up at a predetermined location. Took 4 miles to get into a rhythm but hit the first surge and it wasn’t half bad and found the between pace even easier from then on. Once I was on the Creek Turnpike Trail the hills were tough but manageable and gave me a good chance to work on pushing then dropping back into a nice rhythm. The surges were a nice way to break up the volume when I finished the last pick up I still had a good amount in the tank. A small part in thanks to a huma gel at 11 miles. Somehow I missed the pick up point and kept going down the path unsure of where I really was. Ended up at Northeastern St. University and had to use one of the welcome desk phones to call Kaylin to pick me up.
