6x150 in and outs, 4x40 standing start sprints, 4x120 (40m build, 80m hard) w/3' rest. A real sprinters workout this morning to get my form more powerful and mechanically efficient. Richey was providing mechanical feedback and with so much rest it was all about running as hard as I could. The 150s were more like warm up strides but when I moved to the 40s I found a real challenge in getting off the line as hard as possible. The last one was definitely the best feeling and gave me some confidence for the 120s. I found that after the initial acceleration for the hard 80m I would inevitably overstride, break stride, or feel a slight rig coming on. Despite the relatively short work in terms of mileage I do feel like I was productive in addressing my weak points!
