5th ($50), 15:19. Good field, better than I was expecting. Frezer Legesse (3:36 1500 guy), Craig Nowak (3:58 Miler), and an NAIA National Champ. Thought I'd shoot for a prime but the gap between me and the first pack was about 5-10 sec ahead at 1k, just a little too much to make up. Settled into a normal rhythm, hip held up fine during the race. Maybe got a little too comfortable after 2k (5:57) because I followed up the next K in 3:06. One guy rolled up on me around 2 miles and I went with but didnt have much fight down the last K so I took the L. Not disappointed, but know I could run better, there was definitely some hesitation with my hip but seemed to hold up.
