Called an audible this morning, originally was going to do 3 sets of 5x600 w/ 2' tomorrow. instead, after i got back from the warm-up (with the intent to pace Ashley) taylor had Ash do 6-8x600 w/2' so I said fuck it I'll just do it now since the pace was 73-74 it seemed close enough then I could drop it down later. instead of 3 set of 5, went to 2 sets of 8 w/ 4' between sets. 1:51.7, 1:49.7, 1:48.8, 1:48.8,1:49.1, 1:51.9 (she was hurting, from then I was on my own), 1:45.2, 1:44.6. By the time I started the second set everyone was pretty much gone from the track so i lost my cheering section of some of the boys. 1:45.6, 1:43.3, 1:44.1, 1:44.5, 1:44.1, 1:45.2, 1:44.2, 1:42.5. Went through 400 in 68-70 every rep of the last set and it felt great. things were controlled save for a few where i pressed on the gas the last 100m or so. Otherwise it was a great consistent workout of running quick but not burying myself.
