2 mile @MP w/4' rest+ 2 sets of 12x400 w/100 jog, 400 jog between sets. Got slapped by the long schlong of the humidity monster this morning. 76 degrees, 89% humidity with a 71 degree dew point made the air crazy thick and I was drenched in sweat very early, and could not cool off. I started off the MP 2 mile somewhat aggressively but I couldn't seem to find the rhythm, still ran it well and ended at the track. 5:10.7/5:06.0 (10:16.7). I stood around for the 4 min before the 400's. I wish I could say that I got to the point where I zoned out and let the workout flow, and maybe to a degree I did by not worrying about how many I had to go, but I was hoping I'd run faster today. I know I am dealing with the most accumulated fatigue I have ever had, but 70's seemed like I would just be "getting by" on a workout like this. I went through in 35 on 21 of the 24 reps so at least that was predictable.
