(LM) had to drive recruits around before work this morning so it was an early am run. I wouldn’t usually mind, but this damn cold gave me some great sinus pressure and a runny nose that made it really hard to actually get to sleep. I went to bed at 8:50, but didn’t sleep until after 11 pm. Ran off feel this morning and might have picked it up more at the end to get me some extra time to shower.

One way to get through early runs off little sleep is to run with your eyes closed the whole time and pretend it isn't happening.

Works for me every time.
