Illini classic 7th, I had fun today I just didn't do a good job of competing. I was stuck in the back because I forgot how d1 racing worked where people start out retard hard. The field bunched up hard core after the 200. I was stuck in the back for the first 1000m. I went through in 2:18-19 so we were fucking crawling and I was getting hit all around in the back. I eventually forced my way out and made a move up but Barnett had broken away, I went through the mile in about 4:34. I had to work to keep moving up and it just didn't seem like it was there today. I still had a good time and my knee only bothered me a little which was nice considering it's been hard to even walk let alone run all weekend.
