Rough morning. Had to ride my bike to practice, then ran from TU to Tulsa Runner for the workout. Didnt realize it until I started, but I'd be fighting a 13mph south wind, literally the entire way. Did some drills after the warm up and my right hip was pretty tight. Derek might have dug in too hard. 4 sets of 3-2-1 w/ next rep float jog and 4' easy set jog. Accidentally double tapped my start/stop without realizing it, so I ran a good deal before realizing it, so the first rep a little long. Ideally paces were a progression of 5:15-5:05-4:55 pace. set breakdown was 1. 5:18-5:03-4:46 2. 5:12-5:06-4:55 3. 5:13-5:05-5:00 4. 5:10-5:09-4:47. Really struggled with the steady jog. The wind was already forcing me to run harder, then the recoveries I needed to make a concerted effort. As I got closer to the casino the wind was getting worse and worse, I was pressing into the wind and barely hitting the paces, especially the steady portions. I was in a negative headspace most of the workout. I was annoyed by the wind and the surge in humidity (70 dp).
