Another very tough workout today but tried to keep it more forgiving. Was attempting to do a 20 minute tempo or so and then 5 minutes easy before the last 20 minutes of 1 min hard, 1 min easy to simulate some more explosive movements. Mile splits were 5:00, 4:07, 4:54, 4:09, 4:40, 5:02, 4:32, 4:45, 4:36, 4:39. Not bad overall. Heart rate was definitely up there again but wasn't too shabby doing 1 minute hard with 1 minute break. Seemed to be short enough intervals to let the legs feel pretty good and get the heart rate down a touch. Solid workout again overall.
