Needed a longer aerobic run today. Took it easy through the first 6 or 7 miles before starting to pick it up a bit. Slowly built through the pace while out at Danada, then did my pick-ups on the return trip home. Legs are tired and a bit sore today. Knew I was going to do one run so tried to keep it longer than the usual hour. Did 6 x 1 minute pick-ups home at a decent clip, close to 70ish second quarter pace if I had to guess. The first couple felt alright, then really started to fatigue so kept longer jog between each. A very tough run for a Thursday after the Monday, Wednesday workouts with box jumps and squat jumps added in Tuesday. Definitely the type of run I need to keep to get ready for that half-marathon.
